Deviation Actions
I'm so geeked! And honored! My image "The Red Chair" was selected as a Daily Deviation. I have been on DA for 7 years and this is my first one.
When I checked in this morning I was surprised to see 50 messages waiting. Not that unusual; I just assumed one of the groups I'm in added a bunch of new images. What really surprised me was that they were "feedback" message. It took me several minutes to figure out why I had so much traffic to my page.
Anyways, thank you to all that have been visiting my work and leaving me such great feeback, favoriting my images, and adding me to your watch lists. I love it! It's always great to know my work is appreciated.

I'm an albino llama...and older.
Thank you for the birthday well wishes, and for the recent surge of llamas. I'm now officially 39 years old and have over 50 llamas.
I'm lucky enough to be posting this while sitting on the lanai of a resort on the south beach of Kauai. It's 7 AM and I'm enjoying some mango juice and sitting on the balcony, with a towel around my waist, watching the waves carry the surfers for short thrill rides. I'm a bit more red than I am tan, but I'll work on that more later in the day.
Because several of you were kind enough to send me llamas recently, I am now an "albino llama". So that's cool.
To those curious as to when I'll return to posting n
Time for some soul searching
After a recent incident, that I won't bother going into, I've decided to store all of my deviations. I've yet to decide if this is permanent or temporary, but it's necessary either way.
I want to thank all of my watchers and fans from over the years, especially those that have taken the time to comment and/or send me notes. I know some of you in real life, and some I've shared some great on-line conversation with. Some have been kind enough to flirt on occasion and help me build a self confidence that I never had before DA.
I might be back to submit more in the future...but for now I'll simply be here watching from the shadows. I'll sti
I LOVE comments
Tell me my work is shit, tell me it makes your black and white dreams become color. Tell me my images turn you off; tell me they inject passion into your heart and nether regions...just tell me something. I love that people visit my work. I love that they add certain images to their favorites or collections. But more than that, I love feedback. I want to grow as an artist and it's so much easier to do with feedback that tells me what my watchers do or don't enjoy. (preferably constructive or at least well written feedback...but let's not kid ourselves, as long as it's not too vulgar, it takes a lot to insult me)
Do I show too much fron
My 15 minutes
I was contacted last week by "beachelf" about doing an interview for the Hot-Y-Chromosomes group. I was and am completely honored that someone would find my work good enough to be interested in the person behind the camera.
You can read the interview here: http://hot-y-chromosomes.deviantart.com/journal/An-Artist-Interview-w-Withnail1-282126576#
Again my thanks to beachelf and all the people that not only took the time to read the interview, but to comment. Better yet, if you weren't familiar with me before but found me because of the interview, I'm very happy to know you've stopped by.
Keep those favs and comments coming. I don't real
